PMB033 Tick Tock Twang: Jon Brooks, Helmut Zacharias, Supercasanova, Boots Randolph, Frente Cumbiero

This week’s show attempts to straddle the worlds of alarm clocks and twanging surf guitar. Alarm clocks are provided by the Advisory Circle’s Jon Brooks who has somehow managed to craft an entire album made entirely from the sounds made by a Braun AB-30 alarm clock. The twanging guitar comes from Stories in Sound and the Surf Teens. In between that we also have another track from Helmut Zacharias, two tracks from a West Coast band who are new to us at the Moonbase, Supercasanova, a welcome return of skweee and a cracking piece of electronic tropicalia from Frente Cumbiero.

The Dalek Vicar also returns with a reading from the Haiku Solar System.
