PMB153: General Hospital (Johnny Pearson, Lalo Schifrin, Johnny Dankworth, Weird Al Yankovic, Teri Summers & The Librettos, Kai Winding, Al Caiola, Leith Stevens, Matmos)

PMB153 General HospitalThis week on the show we thought we would celebrate the 50th anniversary of the arrival on television of the Doctor. Dr Hardy, that is, and the rest of the cast of General Hospital, the longest running series on TV which first took to the airwaves in April 1963.

Our celebration takes the form of a series of extremely urgent sounding theme tunes to various medical dramas and a selection of other tunes which hopefully won’t have you being rushed to A&E.
