Gygan, Britain’s first operational Robot. His metal face was modelled on a “proud Englishman”

Posted on September 22, 2013 by projectmoonbase

Robot Gygan
Britain’s first operational Robot. In 1957, his Italian creator, Dr Fiorito, claimed that his metal face was modelled on a “proud Englishman”. Here he is taking time off from crushing cans to dance with this lady. Watch he doesn’t stand on your foot lady, Gygan weights over 1,000lbs, so that would be the end of your puny human legs.
