It’s time to celebrate the work of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration on the show this week, dear listener.
We have a Moonbase classic from the patron saint of PMB, Jean-Jacques Perrey, as well as some Indian retro-futurism from visionary Ananda Shankar.
But this show mostly contains tracks from musicians we’ve never played on the show before – and some of them are even quite new! We apologise in advance for this flirtation with the contemporary. Normal service will be resumed next time, we feel sure.

Project Moonbase is listener supported. So next time you buy anything from Amazon, please go via our Amazon affiliate link. It won’t cost you anything, is totally anonymous and best of all it helps keep the show running. Thank you!

Thing of the Week
If you’ve recently dismantled a NASA Space Shuttle but, when trying to reassemble it found that you had a few nuts left over, you may need to get yourself a copy of the NASA Space Shuttle (Owner’s Workshop Manual) from Haynes.
This manual will tell you everything you need to know about getting your Space Shuttle back into space again, as well as which weekly checks you need to carry out.
